Visited the Syracuse campus to attend the Lockerbie Memorial events. Although a solemn weekend, we did have a very good stay at the Sheraton. Centrally located on campus with clean, modern rooms. Was allocated a large room on the 8th floor with a king bed. Room was in good shape with an LCD TV. They use a motion detector system to shut down the HVAC when you are out of the room and it is a bit stuffy when you return. It clears up quite quckly once the system starts again. Free... more

I went with a couple of friends to Syracuse and booked this hotel through Hotwire and was very pleased with the hotel. The cost of parking is $10.00 per night. It is a good hotel, nice and clean, with helpful staff. Only complaint is the air conditioning, which is noisy, and takes a long time to be on and off, changing the temperature of the room from cold to hot. Outside of this, I will definitely come back to stay. more

We chose this hotel based on reputation of the Starwood Preferred Guest hotels. The rooms were very small considering it's prices. Stayed here for one night on the way into Cooperstown. Rooms were average hotel rooms though with 2 Queen Beds rather than 2 Doubles so that was very nice. Rooms/Bathrooms were very clean. Staff/Service was excellent/friendly/helpful. Did not use the pool but it looked very small. $8 to park in parking garage next door, not great but not bad either.... more
