We stayed at the Greene Mountain View Inn the weekend of Hurricane Irene. The Inn was cute, very clean, and the manager Greg was very friendly and helpful. During the hurricane, Greg made extra effort to see that the guests were comfortable, depite lack of power, cable, and internet. We plan to stay at the Inn next year!

The hotel is a little dated but the charm of the place and sincerity of the people that work there makes up for it. Most important, it was clean, quiet, and has a good location. It's not the Four Seasons but definitely pleasant.
