Not impressive although the location and setting are lovely. We requested a wake up call for 6:30 am and were called at 5:30 am because someone forgot to change the clocks for day light savings time. We have stayed at Select Registry Inns in the past and this one was not up to the standards we had become used to. more

This lovely Victorian Inn overlooks Cayuga Lake and is just about the perfect spot for a first-rate inn or bed and breakfast. Unhappily, the accommodations do not live up to location or the exterior of the inn. The towels in the bathroom are paper thin. The products in the bath are what you might find at a Motel 6. We... more

Stayed at the Taughannock Farms Inn for 2 nights with my 9 year old daughter, while visiting my son at Cornell. We usually stay at the Statler on Cornell's campus, but it was booked. The Inn is really lovely, the check in was simple and they made us feel welcome. The rooms are spacious, have everything you need, including free... more

Pleasantly surprised with our stay at Taughannock Farms Inn. We arrived with friends, another couple, in mid October and the scenery from our rooms was awesome. We were overlooking the lake and the colours were spectacular this time of year. We both had rooms at in the Edgewood, next door to each other, and would recommend staying upstairs next time.... more

We stayed in room #82 in the new building up on the hill. The room was large, clean, had a frig and good size bathroom, along with a balcony and nice view of the lake. Staff was friendly and helpful all around. I agree that the breakfast was kind of stingy and was surprised that I had to get my... more

This a very pretty property that over looks the lake. We stayed in the new lodge on the hill and was very pleased with the room. It is very close to the State Park with a beautiful water fall and acess to the lake. There are a number of wineries nearby and we had lunch in the Thirsty Owl Winery... more

Don't understand the reviews that knocked this wonderful find. We actually tried to avoid this location. CIrcumstances found us knocking on the door for a room. Based on the reviews here, this was not the place for us, WRONG !.. We found a charming Inn with a cozy room (South Lake). Our welcome was wonderful and the staff very friendly.... more

My fiance and I stayed at T-Farms on our way home from a trip to Niagara Falls in 2007. We stayed in the South Forrest room which was very cute and perfectly comfortable for one night. We had an amazing dinner and enjoyed sitting at a table outside and enjoying the view of the lake and grounds. When we planned... more

After a lakeside wedding, a lovely reception @ the inn, lovely for the guests gathered. But walking about as field marshall, a scowling, brusque proprietor who partners with his spouse as owner/operator. One of the tables did not have a clear view of the bride and groom's table. So it was angle adjusted buy other guests enough to permit a... more

The owner was rude and sets a bad example for the staff. I love Fall in Ithaca. My daughter is a Freshman at Cornell and we decided to stay at Taughannock Farms Inn over parents weekend. The property looks so pretty from the road and we decided that even though it is at least a 30 minute drive from Cornell,... more
