We went for our anniversary and let me tell you, thehouse itself from the outside is impressive looking at first glance but once you take a look around, you can see that noone cared about this house. The landscaping - AWFUL! The rooms - AWFUL! The decor in the rooms - OLD and UGLY! Slip covers on all the furniture. The dining room, whitewashed and bland. Kitchen looked dirty and the whole houuse smelled of must as their is no central air and no windows can open in the main areas. The host (who was not the owner) had the personality of a wet mop and gave us absolutely no direction as far as the house, the grounds, etc. There were no drinking glasses in the rooms, nothing you would expect from a B&B that describes itself as luxurious on its website. My husband and I left after two hours becuase it was so bad, we drove to the finger lakes and stayed in a B&B there. We threw away $160.00 but would have rather burned that money then stay there.
