This hotel was fantastic. We went to get married there and had a wedding co-ordinator from the start. She was brilliant. Well dressed, friendly, helpful and kind. She helped us before the wedding to decide how we were going to do things, what my dress was like, did i need help, did we want honeymoon suite (of course.. it was... more

I cannot explain how thrilled I was when I arrived at the Maritim. It is beautiful...by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in some amazing hotels. Just read all of those 5* ratings that people have written about the hotel and you will see what kind of a stay you are going to... more

We stayed at the Maritim in 2004 on our honeymoon. We opted for an all inclusive option which only makes sense if you drink alcohol. On arrival, we were greeted with a lovely fruit juice and although the weather was a little cloudy, the service certainly wasn't. The resort is excellent, the rooms were very nice, but full of gekkos!... more

We stayed at the Maritim in September/October 2007 for 10 nights on an all inclusive basis for our honeymoon and we booked it with Thomas Cook. The reception area and the view from the reception is spectacular. It looks right onto the pool, pool bar and out into the ocean. No words can explain it and no photo we took... more

The special thing about this hotel is its atmosphere. It still has character, unlike most of the homogenous new hotels and the view as you walk through reception has to be one of the most stunning I have yet seen from a hotel. This was our first holiday without children in tow in 18 years and it was our 20th... more

We recently came back from a two week holiday to celebrate a special birthday, what a fantastic place, one of the best holidays i have ever had! The location was amazing, we had a prestige room over looking the lagoon, the room was spacious with a amazing walk in shower, the bathroom has a bath and a him and hers... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights at the beginning of March 2009 for our first real holiday away together. I booked the hotel on the strength of previous Tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed as it is by far and away the best 4* all inclusive hotel I have ever stayed at (including ones... more

Our honeymoon to Mauritius was booked by my husband's parents and when we saw the brochure 5 months before we were due to go, we were astounded by how beautiful it was. The only downside obviously is the 12 hour flight to get there, but believe us when we say it's worth it! When we drew up to the hotel... more

We stayed in the hotel last year after reading good reviews & also a recommendation from my travel agent. It was disappointing at the start. The reception at the hotel from the staff was very unfriendly. They made us wait for half an hour before giving a room. the receptionist then fumbled with the accommodation. The guy never even spared... more

We - me and my wife - spent part of our holidays in Maritim from Jan 8th, to Jan 14th 2009. We stayed in DBL Deluxe room No. 370. Room was pretty big, with huge comfortable bed. Room was equipped with TV-set, minibar, coffee-corner and well-working air-conditioneering system. From balcony we can enjoy sunset into ocean every evening. Bathroom was... more
