Stayed here March 2006. This was the first large hotel built on this island some 30 years back. Needs a lick of paint here and there and the bathrooms need renovation. The pool area is very good and the water well cared for. The general service is excellent and friendly. The food is amongst the best on the island both... more

This hotel is a little tired and has ovviously seen better days in the past. Designed to look like a cruise ship from the sea the layout is very different. Well, I see that some people are unhappy about finding out that the hotel doesn't have a sauna or massage room. Personally, I didn't go to the Seychelles in order to stay in a hotel but to visit this beautiful country. So I don't care there is no sauna or this kind of service. well it was a bad experience.... ...........hell inside the paradise!!!!!!!!!! all the guest during our stay was trying to book the berjaya in beau vallon for its location no massage room.....no sauna...nothing works there dont waste yr money stay in guesthouse in mahe or spend something more for the meridien or banyan tree more

initially the hotel looked a little tired and old, the beach is small but lovely the grounds are huge, however the service is fantastic the food is out of this world and always served with a smile, the turn down service adds that something special to the holiday and there was not a night where we did not have flowers... more
