It's a comfortable hotel that's both on a river as well as on the ocean. The hotel offers various excursion and trips. You can rent boats or go sailing. Good for families. However, it's really in the middle of nowhere and the landscape around it is quite boring compared to others in the Western Cape. If you are looking for a place on the sea that's not Cape Town, try Hermanus or Knysna.
