we were lucky enough to stay here for 4 nights at the beginning of our honeymoon in Sept 2012. The staff were AMAZING. so friendly and attentive, especially Chande, who was our waiter for the length of our stay. Raine and Clive were great, greeting us everyday and always available when we had queries. The 'tents' were extremely comfortable -... More

After a rather bumpy domestic flight from Dar Es Salaam, we were warmly greeted by Rama our driver and safari guide with a refreshing cool drink. Rama was kind enough to provide a lift to a couple booked into another safari camp on the way, as the other camp rarely meets their guests from the airstrip! On arrival, Raine and... More

We had a wonderful time at the Selous Safari Camp. The guides were wonderful, the food was fantastic (considering the circumstances) and the excursions were worthwhile. We would recommend this camp to anyone!

Very good tented camp, a great cook a good boat safary and a good staff. The only minor point was the driver of the safari jeep. He needs to communicate better with his clients especially when the wild life is not fully there.

My wife and I had 4 action-packed days at the Riverside Camp. Clive and Rain were excellent hosts and couldn't do enough for us. The lodges are excellently located just outside the reserve but in a lovely spot on the Rufiji river. Accommodation was great (large tents will all comforts such as a fan, great shower with hot water, very... More

We are just back from an amazing trip to the Selous Riverside Safari Camp. The lodge is situated on the river and a 15 to 20 minute drive from the gates of the game reserve. The journey passes through the local village each day. It was a priviledge to visit the village and school and met the local people and... More

We travelled as a group of six (three couples) and had no real idea what to expect when we arrived. Some of the reviews on here are critical that the camp is half an hour or so outside the Mtemere gate of the game reserve itself...but we found that the drive in and out each day was no trouble at...
