This is one of the better accomodation options beside lake Bunyonyi. If you don't have your own tent you have a choice of either of room or furnished tent (try ones on wooden platform!!!). If I went there again, i would most probably chose again furnished tent. Prices are very affordable.

Shared toilets were clean, food was OK, though the service was quite slow (african style). Good choice of activities, from canoeing to mountain biking. You can also visit Edirisa, a local charity organisation that helps the local school. Three times per week there is a local market nearby.

But what makes this hotel worthwhile is the location - the lake. Its safe to swim and the variety of birds around the lake is really astounding.

The only negative thing i would say is that this camp caters to overland groups. Groups can be very noisy (especially if there is a football match on a satellite TV), and they can make the service at the restaurant even slower. For a quieter... more
