We had one of the lodges, nice twin room. Didn't spend much time at the lodge to consider pros and cons of views as others have. We were off Chimp Trekking, doing the Kazinga Channel Boat and driving through Kensenyi. If you want to sit around then sure a view might be nice, but if you get out you will... More

Stayed here for 2 night, and is was perfect! Our arrival was good! Just like the other times we arrived at one of the Nature Lodges (Fort Murchinson)! We booked a double and a twin room, and the lodges were good, we got the combined room so shared a balcony, it was very good. But we did not have a... More

A different place than the usual places. An amazing view on the lake, hippo's eating grass in front of your lodge during the night and a luxury lodge; fantastic! The lodges are pretty good. a toilet that you must cover with sand (like nature itself) and a shower that is outside in the open. A nice experience that I wouldn't... More

The place looks simple: just a big reception- and dinner-tent in the middle of nature. But the tented rooms are good and adventurous. Bathing in the open air with sun-heated water! Overlooking a branch of the Kizinga channel, fish-eagles passing by, a family of elephants drinking at the shores, hypos grunting in the night and leaving footprints just in front... More

We stayed for three nights - the staff could not have been more welcoming, the food was good and plentiful, and as the weather was fine the tables were moved outside on the last evening - so dining by moonlight. Accomodation was comfortable but basic - the hot water for the shower is worth ordering, we sat and had a... More

Our accomadation for 3 nights was one of the nature Lodges, which is a tent built on a wooden platform with an ensuite outside shower and an indoor sand toilet (variation on a long drop toilet). the accomodation consisted of a spacious room with a large bed+mosquita net, 1 small bed side table, I bag stand, 2 coat hangers and... We booked this place in Kampala because of its great reviews on trip advisor. When we made the booking we specifically requested a tent with a view of the channel, and they confirmed our request. However, upon arriving to the lodge, it was apparent that this request was not communicated from Kampala and they gave us the only room with... More

We loved our stay at the Bush Lodge in Queen Elizabeth Park. We spent two nights here in February. We were greeted with a cool drink when we arrived and made to feel completely welcome, We stayed in a tented cabin which was very comfortable and clean. I know other guests complained about the sand toilet and the outside shower,... More

We spent two nights here in Feb 2013. The tent was clean and comfortable, though sparsely furnished with nowhere to put your belongings other than on the floor. The shower was outside behind the tent in an enclosure, and water was heated by the sun, meaning a cold shower on overcast days. The sand toilet was inside the tent. The... More
