We stayed at this magnificient house for a night, and I found this an amazing home! It is well maintained, and very clean. The old world charm is everywhere, and the owners have put in much thought and care to maintain the character of this beautiful house. I was happy with the amenities, and particularly the breakfast in the warm... More

We stayed at the BB for 4 nights. It was our first BB. I kinda felt weird, knowing I was in parts of someones house. We had the room with 2 queens beds and its own bathroom. During the week the breakfast was just your cereal, breads, muffins nothing fancy. On the weekends, they cooked for you. We had 2... More

I've never left a review of any hotel before but had to express my delight at this beautiful old house. Travelling from New York to Niagara Falls Waverley was a central point, it was late when we arrived but the owners called to confirm our rooms were waiting and although they weren't there (it was very late!) our arrival was... A Dr that I am seeing recommended this place to stay at when I come to Sayre for testing. She said it was $47 for single and $60 for double per night. She was mistaken which is not a big deal but I will never stay here as the owner wasn't very customer oriented (he was rude). I called and... More

During the September 2011 flood, I couldnt get home to my family. I hadnt known of this bed and breakfast and needed a place to stay. I ended up having to stay 2 nights. The owners welcomed me as soon as I arrived. This grand old house is absolutely beautiful and very large. I asked if they had time to... More

I stayed at the Palmer House 2 years ago when it was under the previous managment...they were courteous and so welcoming. I called today to book a room and found it to be under new management. When I spoke to Steve he denied me a room reservation because I had children. He stated "it is nothing against kids" but they... More

Owners Steve and Linda made us so welcome. We were in town for a wedding and some local touring. It couldn't have been better located for us. We needed two rooms for a week, and Linda suggested their top floor, which turned out to be a 2 bedroom suite, perfect for our needs. Breakfasts were full and hearty, with Steve... More

Wonderful hospitality. Charming rooms. Great breakfast. We were locals in town for a family event. The Palmer House is a local landmark. The innkeepers were great hosts and run a clean and historic B&B. We plan to be repeat customers.

We were delighted to find this gorgeous B and B in a town very close to our business destination. Staying there was good alternative to impersonal chain hotels, of which there were a few in the area. Our timing was a bit awkward, as the owners were out of town, but their assistant, Angela, was very helpful. She agreed to... More
