We stayed for a 3 day weekend at The Sands and were vey happy with our experience. The motel is a little dated yes but not at all in a bad way. This is the worst hotel I have ever seen, much less attempted to stay in. I was at the Delaware beach for a fishing tournament, I wasn't with my family- thank god. Mold, dirt, slippery steps, dirt, old TV (1980) at best. No AC No heat, bathroom window didn't close. Old bed- sand in sheets. Shower was old, filthy and... more
I really loved this place the beach in right around the corner from the motel. The motel is clean and was just perfect for our little trip, I would go there every year. I really like were it is. more
