My wife and I recently stayed at Les Belle Perdrix. The only problem with our stay is that we spent only three nights rather than three months. From the moment we met Rejane and Mathieu until we left, every aspect of our stay was superb. The accommodations are very good and impeccable, the food at the restaurant was wonderful, their... More

Les Belles Perdrix is a magical, charming, decadent place to stay. We stayed in the Workshop Room and were stunned that it exceeded our expectations! Beautifully decorated with art and extremely comfortable and accomodating. Upon arriving at the amazing grounds of Chateau Troplong Mondot we were stunned at the beauty of the area and the location. On TOP of the... More

Les Belles Perdrix is a "hard to believe" truly beautiful place. The room was fantastic and the staff (Mathieu in particular) were brilliant. It is a great place to explore the outskirts of St Emilion and it is well worth booking into the restaurant. We stayed one night but I would suggest staying at least 2 or longer as it... More

My husband and I stayed at Chateau Troplong Mondot for three wonderful days and had an amazing stay. The chateau and vineyard are a little piece of heaven in the Bordeaux country side. The Mahogany room we staid in was recently remodeled, decorated beautifully and very comfortable. The grounds were perfectly manicured and wonderful to walk around. The views were... More

My wife and I just spent four fantastic nights in the Mahogany Room at Les Belles Perdrix and Chateau Troplong Mondot this October and, as a bonus, at the start of a late 2012 Saint-Emilion harvest. What a time we had! This is the place to stay in Saint-Emilion! Period!! Special thanks goes to Rejane, our point of contact at... More

A group of us came here for Sunday lunch and it was faultless. It is located just out far enough from St Emilion (a tourist Mecca) to have no problems parking, and with a raised terrace that looks out over a sea of vines the location and ambience are perfect. The €45 lunch menu was interesting and showed culinary flair,... More

We stayed here for two nights in the Mahogany room. The room was well appointed, comfortable and very quiet. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and courteous, even giving us a lift to the train station when we couldn't get a cab (see below note on cabs in St Emilion)- going well beyond the call of duty, an... We stayed here a few weeks ago as part of our tour around France and it was our highlight. Les Belles Perdrix is an annex to the Chateau of Troplong Mondot and is set on a hill overlooking St Emillion and it is absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in 'Les Atelers' or 'The workshop' which had two bedrooms and a magnificent... More

Our family of five from Asia visited St Emilion for the first time and stayed at Les Belles Perdrix's Mahogany and Workshop rooms. Amazing location and warm hospitality - staff speak English and we felt absolutely welcomed! We felt very comfortable and we even grew fond of the three dogs on the property! Les Belles Perdrix is just a 20... More

My husband and I stayed here for a night while we were working our way up into the Loire Valley. It was easy to find and all of the signs to the chateaux were well-marked (which for foreigners is very nice). Our room was huge and the bathroom was amazing. Giant tub and a huge shower. Great. The bed was... More
