we've stayed in the hotel for 4 nights - this is definitely not a 5star+ hotel having a basic room i have to say it is mostly 3 star room - tiny, the furniture is cheap, floor tiles come from 70ties, shower leaks in all directions (i have to admit - the necessary one also :) so whatever the management... more

The best things : The views. Stunning views of the whole Bay . The Location. It is very central so you can easily stroll everywhere. Wellness-Spa. It has been renovated recently and has a variety of facilities. It also has a particularly interesting menu. The food is good. The hotel is located up on the hillside (Anacapri), away from the hustle and bustle of Capri main town...which is heaving during the day with visitors from the mainland. Avoid at all costs! We stayed for a week at the Capri Palace in October, 2005 and we always said we will return one day. We were impressed from the moment we walked into the Foyer. Capri is still a romantic place. The palace is the most established hotel there. There are a lot of charming small hotels in Capri but we stayed here because of the spa. The hotel arranged for our transfer from the Napoli airport. Because one of our suitcases was missing (Aliatlia!!!!!!!!!!!), the hotel offered to arrange for the retrieval of the suitcase (I later found out thatthey required a 70Euro fee for that - which was ok, but they should have mentioned it).
