Booked this after reading reviews on trip advisor and it exceeded our expectations. Large, very clean room, the owner Gianluca is lovely and helpful, and you are minutes from the centre of Anacapri yet you feel like you actually live there because it is on a quiet residential & pedestrianised street. Breakfast was also of a high standard (for Italy)... more

This was my second stay at the Mediterraneo in two years. I choose to go back to this property because I had a fantastic stay there the first time. Gianluca, the owner, couldn't be more helpful. He provided us with great suggestions and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. The room was large, clean and nicely decorated. The... more

This was a charming little bed and breakfast in Anacapri. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. The room was pretty and clean, and breakfast was plentiful and very good. The location was great...very close to the center of Anacapri but on a small quaint street that really allowed you to experience the tranquility of Anacapri. Would definitely stay there... more

My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights last summer with our two young children, ages 4 and 7. We had a lovely stay. This hotel is small, but charming, and very quiet. We had a family room, which is spacious enough for all 4 of us. We liked the decor of the room. It has old charm, and... more

My wife and I stayed three nights in this small, quaint hotel in Anacapri. It is beautifully situated in private area just a few blocks from the center of Anacapri. It was very clean, run by a friendly family. Breakfast was very good, plenty to eat. The owner was very helpful in telling us about the sights, transportation, etc. A... more

This is a fablous little local hotel. I would agree with a previous comment it is more B&B than hotel but that is not a bad thing. All Capri hotels are prciey but I thought 125€ was fine. The owner Jon-Luca could not be more helpful. As Anacapri is up the island not having a full view is not a... more

This small hotel is located 2 minutes from the center of Anacapri. It's rooms are simple and clean, but beautifully decorated in white and blue. There is a very nice courtyard and outside seating. The breakfast room is a great setting. The owners are friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is adequate (croissants, jellies, bread, cereal, fruit) and the coffee... more

We spent our Honeymoon at the Hotel Mediterraneo and Loved it! The owners are a wonderful family and we especially thank John Luca. Staying in Anacapri was the best of all worlds. Also, eat at L'Arcate and ask for Carlo and Palma. We will recommend the Hotel Mediterraneo to all our family and friends. Excellent service, impeccably clean comfortable room... more

Granted Capri is overpriced, but at 125euro a night, I expected more from the Mediteraneo. The B&B (I would not call it a hotel) has its charm, but there were some shortcomings. For one, half our room (#7) lay underneath a main pathway for locals. So whether it was mopeds late in the evening, or joggers in the morning, there... more
