Just returned from a week at this hotel and have phoned to make a further booking for next year. We were totally satisfied with our Tresize room with large walk in shower. Room of generous size and delightful ambience. The hotel exudes old wall charm without any cost to modern facilities. It was a pleasure to eat here and dinners... More

A few weeks ago, I stayed at this hotel for the second time within the last twelve months - it was excellent the first time, but now, having returned ... what can I possibly add? I fully intend returning to St Mary's again soon, but cannot now stay anywhere else because, with the greatest respect to the many other excellent... More

Thank you for your review. We have a complete new team in our restaurant this year (the first time since 2009) so it pleases me to know that the standard of service is maintained. As usual if you come to stay again in 2013 we will help with you travel costs best regards Joan More

Our second visit in 9 months. Lovely people, fantastic food. This time we had a suite, which gave plenty of space. Spent a day on St Martins and had to keep pinching myself to remind me that it is April, and I was still in the UK! Too good to miss

A very nice stay - decent rooms, excellent restaurant and very congenial staff. This is possibly the shortest review I've written but... there is little to complain about, it was very reasonably priced (Restaurant and accommodation) and is well run establishment... The bathrooms are not 5 Star but compared to other hotel prices on St. Mary's, The Hall Hotel is... More

Good friendly service is the trade-mark of this excellent hotel. We were in a Count Leon room and found it warm and comfortable. We had no problem with the lack of a lift but others might not be so pleased. The restaurant was superb. Dinner menu changed daily and, though choice was limited to four in each course, the variety... More

A five night break in October and the weather could hardly have been worse. We enjoyed excellent service, good food and a very relaxing time at this well appointed hotel on St Mary's despite the dreary weather outside. We have stayed many times at various hotels on the Isles and this was certainly one of the best. Our room was... More

We stayed for five nights at the end of September and beginning of October, we could not have chosen better. Joan (the manager) and her staff are excellent and believe that the customer is king and pride themselves on the service they offer, and they are very very good. Compliments also to the restaurant, we dined there every night for... More

St Marys Hall without a doubt looks after their guests. Our Count Leon room with its balcony, (we managed an hour on it in October's sunshine) was well appointed with comfortable beds although the pillows and duvets were a little solid and ready for replacement. I do like decent chairs as opposed to having to prop oneself on a bed... More

A very pleasant stay. The staff are very good. The food is generally excellent. This is one of the very few hotels that can scramble eggs properly- can you believe that would seem so difficult! The evening meals were very high quality - this chef can cook. Our room, one of the annexe rooms, had some faults eg extractor fan... More
