My wife and I were married on April 25, 2009 in Blowing Rock, NC and had our reception at The Inn at Crestwood (which is a fantastic old family home converted to a hotel that is very cozy). After the reception was over, we were whisked away and spent the next 3 nights at The Innat Ragged Gardens in the... more

We stayed at the Inn for a belated anniversary get away. The gardens and Inn were very well kept and gorgeous and very close to the shops and main street. Our room (English Lavendar) was very pretty as well. Nice touches included a nearby butler's pantry and evening wine and appetizer type snack. Our room was above the dining area... more

This was not listed in the usual guide books we consulted, but it should be. We stayed here one night in the Lavender Room, one of the less expensive at the Inn, and it was just lovely. The room was very comfortable, large, with fire place, and perfect for us. The Inn is very nice and well located only a... more

We wanted to get away for the night and chose to go to Blowing Rock since its a quick drive from our home in Greensboro, NC. We have stayed there before but never at this Inn. We have walked by during the Spring and enjoyed the lovely garden and thought that this would be a great place to stay. The... more

We stayed at the Ragged Gardens for 2 nights and had an excellent stay. My wife and I are not typically B & Ber's but stayed here on the recommendation of a family member. Our room, the Blue Wisteria, was a decent size with a large balcony. We peeked in at about 6 other rooms and all of them had... more

We've stayed at the Inn a couple of times and we were totally blown away each time. Nice place to stay for a special weekend away. It's within walking distance to shops, restaurants, theater, etc. No need to drive your car once you get there. The Best Cellar, the restaurant on site, is absolutely wonderful. We used to eat there... more

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at this inn. We loved everything about it! It's in a great location - near Main Street. We especially enjoyed the wine and hors d'oeuvres which were served every afternoon at 5PM. There was also a pantry with refrigerated drinks and tea and coffee-making facilities, which could be used any time of day. The... more

Very well run B&B. Rooms are extremely nice and the location is awesome. The onsite restaurant is very good too. Beautiful home inside and out. Have stayed in about 7 or so Bed and Breakfasts in the last few years and this is the nicest by far! Location is centrally located. Only downside at all is that you can hear... more

We had a wonderful two-night stay here. The location is great - the inn is a block or two away from downtown Blowing Rock's restaurants and shops. We stayed in the Oakleaf Suite, which was very large (including an oversize bathroom) and comfortable with a small patio overlooking the gardens. In addition to doing the big things right (good customer... more

My wife and I have stayed at the Inn several times and I am NOT a big Bed and Breakfast fan but must say, this place has gotten my attention. The Innkeeper and staff are fantastic and always make sure ample fresh cookies at night and plenty of cheese and crackers with wine at 5 PM complementary. The Best Cellar... more
