Our family of two adults and two teenagers arrived on a Sunday evening and were warmly greeted at the Hampton Inn at Boone. The hotel was clean and inviting, and our room was beautifully decorated. Our teens enjoyed the spa & pool, and the area was private and very clean. The breakfast was standard Hampton, but the popcorn in the... more

This Hampton Inn was better than we expected, and located half a block from the main intersection in Boone. The rooms were very well appointed and very well maintained. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy breakfast due to family commitments. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The only minor downside was that we could smell chlorine... more

We stayed at the Hampton because we had accumulated Hilton Honors points in the last few months. Knowing from experience that those points get wiped away quickly if not used, I reserved the room on a credit card before our 2 week trip and then called HH the day before to transfer the up to date points to a certificate... more

We just returned form a weekend stay in Boone and this hotel is a gem....Not only are the staff members friendly, they are helpful and sweet spirited. Our room was a double room on the fifth floor. The room was perfectly clean and in good repair, the pool area was clean and well maintained. Although we didn't use the exercise... more

I stayed here with my husband and two 4th grade boys for a weekend-ski trip. The room we had was small but clean and nicely updated with nice linens, 'fridge and small microwave. The only down was that the AC was so loud and it was either all full blast or off, so it was hard to keep the temp... more

This is a very nice Hampton Inn with a very convenient location in Boone, NC. It's within blocks of Appalachian State Univ. and maybe a block from the main Highway (321) leading to Blowing Rock. We booked the three rooms nearest the lobby because there were senior citizens in our party; however, we had no problems with noise from the... more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn, Boone from July 3-6. Our room was on top floor (5th) and toward the far end of the building. It faced away from the street so it was very quite. There is an elevator at that end of the building that is less busy than the one at the front. The room was well... more

This is my third consecutive year to stay at the Hampton Inn in Boone, after a long day attending the Bristol, TN NASCAR race. The drive to Boone after the race takes a little over an hour, with little oncoming traffic the entire drive. Mileage wise, it's not far from Bristol, roughly 50 miles, but the roads in North Carolina... more

We stayed at this hotel during race week and couldn't have been more impressed. The rooms were impeccably clean, the ammenities were excellent, and the location was perfect. Boone has everything that you could possibly want in the way of restaurants, and shopping. The drive to and from Bristol TN for the races was pleasant, and from a direction with... more

Stayed here for four nights and was very satisfied. Clean rooms, very comfortable beds and prompt housekeeping service. Above-average breakfast. Near many dining establishments. Only problem was that on the first night, my room was right next to the stairwell and ice machine, so I was awakened early in the morning by the slamming door and people filling their coolers... more
