My boyfriend and I booked a room at the Inn at Brevard for our "splurge night" during a long weekend trip through the NC mountains. As soon as we walked through the front doors, we knew this place wasn't for us. The information given in the Traveler review "Never Again" does not fit the picture. The traveler says s/he arrived to a room with a single bed and a double bed. None of our rooms have such a combination. All of our rooms have at least a queen bed, so it is possible s/he arrived to a room with a queen...

We had a large family get together here and the experience was horrible. When we were told that the private room was ready for us to come and eat, we sat and waited...and waited...and waited. I am not sure when this traveler stayed at our Inn, however the review was written in January which leads me to believe s/he must have stayed around that time. Our "in season" is from the months of May to October. It is only during this time of year, and during holidays that our dining room is open. It is...

The rooms are quite charming. The floor, walls and ceiling in our room were made of cedar wood. The staff accomodating and friendly. This review was written back in 2003. That summer it rained every single day. We were visited by bugs that summer, but they weren't cockroaches. We had our exterminator out to check on the problem, and he told us that the bugs were actually tree roaches. These roaches, he explained to us, live in trees and only find their way...
