This mountain retreat has it all. The location has beautiful woods, trails and the stream which makes its prescence known by its never ending streaming over rocks. Everything is there, from chairs, grills, and even a site for a campfire. The lodge is breathtaking, clean with a modern kitchen, washer & dryer, and stone covered baths. The River Lodge is truly a masterpiece. The location alone would be enough to make this home special. However, the location on the banks of this beautiful mountain stream melds perfectly with the home. The level of craftsmanship and the obvious intense dedication to finding a harmonious design combine to create the perfect mountain home.

There's only one word for this place...spectacular. The house is magnificent, the grounds are lovely, and the location is perfect, right on the river. There's a fishing hole right behind the house. The owners have thought of everything. If there's something that you wonder how to work, they've left a note with instructions. Need firewood? It's in the bucket next... More

“Great Location & Beautiful”

We stayed here with 4 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space! The kids loved the bunkbeds! The cabin is right on the Nantahala river and its just beautiful.
