Reminded me of why I prefer to stay at B&B country inns as it's been a while since I have stayed at one. So much nicer than a hotel. This is a quiet small restored historic inn located in rural farmland 10 miles outside of Chapel Hill, NC. I stayed in Rusty's Room and could not have been more content.... more
We came back as promised 2 years later to visit a friend who lives nearby. The bathroom in the Milkhouse has since been renovated, which was a pleasant surprise. Other than the hot water not being quite hot enough, everthing was as wonderful as it was before-from the breakfasts to the bedding. Francois and Christine went out of their way... more
Francois and Cristina were our innkeepers and were absolutely wonderful. The inn has recently gone through some renovation - for example, our bathroom appears to have been completely redone (with the neat exception of a saved timber/brick wall enclosed in glass).
