Very convenient if you are going to stay by the airport. Shuttles every 30 mins. Continental breakfast. Didnt get to check out the whole hotel because i got there late and left early. Snack bar with Starbucks coffee more

My girlfriend and I were on our way to Michigan to visit my family when we found ourselves stuck in Charlotte due to flight issues. I called the hotel from the airport and explained to them the situation. I didn't want to stay at one of those low end hotels for disrupted travel. I wanted some place that I would... more

We booked a night here before catching an early morning flight out of Charlotte/Douglas International Airport. I think the Hyatt Place hotels are geared for quick business stays, and it was a perfect start to our vacation as well. I really wished we had arrived earlier in the day to enjoy this hotel a while longer. We payed a little... more

There was one major problem with this hotel, the wireless Internet access in the room was almost useless. They limit access to 11MBps and I didn't get close to this. I would have to take my laptop out into the public area to check my work email. For a business traveler, this would be a deal-breaker. Other than that, the... more

I stayed here for 4 weeks while undergoing basic indoc for my new company. The hotel and staff just converted from Amerisuites. The staff is very gracious and the hotel is in tip top condition. They are no doubt getting inspections from Hyatt regional and national managers. We met a few and they were eager for our input. The hotel... more

While the common areas seem to be recently renovated, the rooms are old and tired. I was, unfortunately, only able to get a smoking room given the late reservation I made. It smelled of stale smoke, but it wasn't overwhelming. The furnishings have seen better days and you can feel the springs of the mattress beneath you while you sleep.... more

I was booked in this hotel for overnight stay by my airline due to a delayed flight. The front desk was not bad but they booked me in an occupied room initially and it was shocking to enter a room and find someone inside. The room that I eventually got had some non functional light bulbs and there was a... more

On our return to Charlotte on 7/28/07, We ended up back at this Amersuites Hotel which had overbooked us on 7/21/07. They had the proper room this time but as we entered the room, the deodorizing scent they used was very strong. My Cpap machine still had that same odor in it a day later. We informed the front desk... more

Stayed here on Friday April 21st overnight. I have to say the room was clean, and comfortable. Air conditioner was noisy. Pillows on the bed were flat and they had no extras. continental breakfast in the am does not start until 7:00 am on the weekend, we needed to leave at 6:30 to go to the airport for a flight... more
