Pleasant and knowledgeable front desk staff. House-keeping staff gave friendly greetings coming and going ! HUGE TIP: Get away from ground floor noise and traffic. Two rather quick elevators available... stay up on top (5th. floor) for quite time. Out away from downtown, so allow time (20 mins.+) for cab rides or driving to any attractions.Plenty of places to walk... more

This is a convenient place to stay for visitors to UNC-Charlotte, Lowe's Motor Speedway, Concord Mills Mall, and other attractions in the University City/Concord area. This is a fairly large property as far as Sleep Inns go, with five stories.Getting in and out is a bit tricky, as the turn into the hotel (behind Shoney's and Bojangles) is a tight... more

This is the second time I've stayed here in about 6 months, and while it's not a 5-Star hotel, it is clean, and a good value. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the internet works great. I paid $66 for a night in April 2007. more

So, you walk in to the hotel, and yes, it's a small studio room with a Queen bed, but smartly decorated so that you can open the doors fully without hitting the furniture. The room was clean and the air was cold, so upon first entry, I was comfortable. I would not vacation at this hotel, but honestly, it was... more

this was my 2nd time staying here in 2 months time. Nice hotel but clerks need to be more knowledgable about discount rates and not charge charges for phone calls that are not local distance after you have checked out. I got home to check my bank statement to see they had charged me for long distance phone calls that... more

We stayed here along w/ a bunch of other p'heads the night of the Buffett show, which was 3 mi. down the road. Pleasant front desk staff (ask for Mary) although the place was sold out and lots of folks were arriving early. We were able to check in at 1:00pm. Tons of restaurants nearby. The Flying Saucer down the... more

Well, where do I start. The Hotel lost my rate price from the online reservation system and insist I pay an extra 20 dollars to stay there. When I explained to them I had received an email verfying my rate...the clerk pointed me to the broken lobby computer to prove it to her. After 22 minutes and three useless attempts... more

Obviously you don't book a hotel in this price range ($70) expecting something luxurious. However, at the very least you should be able to expect a clean room. The room I paid for smelled strongly of some sort of animal, almost like kitty litter. We were told that there were no other vacancies in the hotel that night or we... more

My wife and I stayed here for one night while on a business trip to Charlotte. It was not bad for a $58 stay. Seemed fairly clean; competent staff; no frills; in-room coffee wasn't bad; 50+ cable channels. The bathroom was a little odd--no bathtub, just a shower, and a shower door that opened too easily. (When I leaned against... more
