My boyfriend and I were looking for a place with a mini-kitchen and decent rates when we decided to book a 10 night stay at The Suburban Extended Stay. It looks somewhat cozy and charming from the outside; However, the old saying "looks can be deceiving" could not be any more true in this case. There were visible stains on the mattress, chair, and walls. We were not given any bath towels, and after calling the front desk to ask for some, the desk clerk rudely said we could come and get some IF they had extra (a few days later, we finally got some flimsy towels). Also, one of the lightbulbs was burned out, and the remote control did not work (we ended up having to replace the batteries ourselves). Worst of all, this facility has a roach problem, and the corridors smell like wet dogs.
