I am a Silver Elite with Marriott, which is the entry level elite, and have been so for some time. I notice that each Marriott seems to handle their Elite program differently--at some properties it is a basic as a dedicated check-in line, at others a room upgrade or amenity. However, at the Charlotte City Center, they went above and... More

We went to Charlotte for a Carolina Panther's game. Unsure of how the parking situation would be, we wanted a hotel within walking distance to the stadium. This Marriott was an excellent choice since it was only a 10-15 minute easy walk away. The hotel was very clean and well decorated. Nice pool/fitness center. We enjoyed evening appetizers in their... It seems a bit silly to review yet another Marriott, but as I seem doomed to stay in every single hotel Charlotte has to offer, it seems rude to leave this property out. It is a Marriott. The rooms are clean and well appointed, but there aren't really any bells and whistles. The location is excellent to both business and... More

A football reunion for 12 men was planned a little late but the Marriott came through brilliantly. They were able to accommodate early arrivers, later arrivers and still work out the costs to our advantage. If Ashley is at the front desk when you arrive you will be treated wonderfully. She really aims to please and helped make the weekend... More

I came here thanks to my lovely mother's expiring reward points, she saved me and 2 friends $250 for the night for the ACC championship game. Our double bedroom was pretty standard and the toiletries were the only thing I noticed that was a bit luxurious. The thing I loved the most was the great location in Uptown because we... More

This hotel was perfect for a night on the town! The rooms were clean, very nice, and the hotel staff was extremely nice! It's just a short walk to the epicenter where we spent our evening with its many restaurants and bars! More

This hotel was extremely clean and quiet! Everyone went out of their way to make our hotel stay comfortable(my husband and I ended up stranded in Charlotte). The rooms was nice and spacious. I cant say enough good things about this hotel. The only negative thing I can say is the restaurant on site is expensive, there are plenty of... More

Stayed with the Marriott City Center using Marriott Rewards points for the NASCAR race weekend and a few days extra before heading out to Asheville, NC for the rest of our trip. The hotel is in a great location, right smack in the center of downtown. Easily walkable to everything one would want to do in Uptown Charlotte. We enjoyed... More
