I was here solo for a conference from 3/20-3/23. I have stayed in many hotels for business purposes, and this was one of the better hotels. PS-- Wireless internet was $9.95 for 24 hours-- not sure why a few people reported $20 per day!!! Pros: *Location to the convention center, and all of the nice places to walk around downtown... more

First, my personal pet peeve. If I spend $250 of my company's money to go to a hotel for one night, I do not expect to be nickel and dimed about stupid things. $20 for internet. $20 for parking. $20 for breakfast. $10 for HD TV. $4 bottled water. $2 can of pop/soda. On a lighter note, a truly beautiful... more

This hotel was just great.Check in was a breeze. We got the room for $98.00/night! Great deal on Expedia. We stayed through Valentines day so there were alot of couples visiting while we were there. The staff was friendly and informative. We had some issues with the guest pick up and drop off area because it is a confusing mess. Taxi's... more

We just stayed one night during Thanksgiving weekend so it was very quiet at the hotel and in downtown Charlotte. The hotel staff was friendly and polite. The rooms are modern, clean and the bedding is very comfortable. The hallways are a bit ragged but once you are in the rooms all is good! We did not utilize the restaurants... more

A mediocre hotel with indifferent staff and bland food. Located right next to bus and train station. Hotel draws a lot of convention and weddings. Definitely not catering to vacation or holiday travelers. more

This time, I took a vacation to see my Panthers play. I almost booked a stay at the Westin, but after looking at the reviews here, I went with the Hilton because they had overwhelmingly good reviews. I drove in, and found the lobby staffed with plenty of people, although at the time it wasn't too busy. Check-in was extremely... more

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton City Center the weekend of Sept. 5th for two nights and had an excellent time. Our room was on the 21st floor, which is one of their executive floors. The hotel underwent an extensive renovation within the last year, and our room had all you would expect in a hotel of this... more

I stayed at the Hilton for an overnight business stay. Due to work, I admittedly didn't get to see much of the hotel or the area around it, but all in all, it's a beautiful hotel. I wish I had had more time to enjoy it. My room was on the 19th floor. The room had a large flat screen... more

My husband attended a conference and I tagged along. Steps away from Convention Centre, the light rail train was at the door. Great spot for all the banks and near many attractions. We did find that the shower door made a huge puddle on the floor - but the bathroom was spacious and bright. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The... more
