I loved saving money and staying at a great hotel. My kids loved being able to view the mountains from the window in our room. My wife and I went to Cherokee, NC and we stayed at the Pocahontas Motel. It gave me the same feeling back when I was a child and my grandfather took my brother and I to Cherokee. When I go back to Cherokee I will definetly stay at the Pocahontas because of the hospitality, cleanliness and affordability. Kudos to Pocahontas... more
had a wonderful time. the owners made us very welcome. the motel was very clean . And close to everything. We will be back and we are bringing friends. more
First impression is that of an older, out-dated motel from the 60's. Yes, it IS an older motel, but the owner goes out of his way to ensure the rooms are extremely clean, and up-to-date. We completely enjoyed our stay, and are planning to return for a second visit soon. more
