The couple that runs the Blooming Garden Inn are a little too friendly. In fact, they were friendly to the point of being pushy. I'm happy to chat, but being forced to listen to hour-long tales about how this or that antique was acquired is not my idea of a vacation. They kept telling me I "had to meet" other... more

I was looking for a place to stay while my son was at a Duke University football camp. I found The Blooming Garden Inn listed on the Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau website via a link on the Duke website.
