We booked this hotel because we went to a wedding in Chapel Hill. I am not sure why this MOTEL is stuck in the 70's, but it is. The fixtures, the smells....awful. The continental breakfast is NOT EDIBLE! Even on non-smoking floors, as soon as I get off the elevator, it REEKS of smoke. Please, don't learn this the hard way, do not stay at this hotel. I'm uncomfortable, I'm on medication for the cigarette smoke, and I have to drive elsewhere for breakfast every morning. more

Stayed here for the Duke graduation weekend. Prices doubled Fri/Sat/Sun to $150/night. Room is Spartan with virtually no decoration.
