My wife and I were traveling from Richmond, Virginia enroute to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for our annual family vacation. We usually stay with family in Roanoke Rapids, NC but thought this time we'd get a little closer to our destination and get a hotel room for the night. The Days Inn we stayed in was in Wade, North Carolina (part of Fayettville). I'd worked 10 hours that day and was looking forward to a quick meal and good night sleep. When we got there around 8:30 pm we discovered the kitchen in the restaraunt would be open till 9 so we went there first. We had our 9 year old son and 14 year old grandson with us. The cashier in the restaraunt told us to have a seat anywhere. The waitress was walking in and out and talking to the 2 customers that were already there.
