I would stay again if in the area. Good location your in the middle of everything close to shopping and food. I expected it to be run down but once i got in the room it was nice. they must be renavating had new curtain, bedspreads, and painting. Cheap and clean don't go hand in hand. Old run down building on the outside. Looks nothing like the picture posted on the Ramada web site. Rooms are ok looking at first glance. We arrived around 11 p.m. with no reservations. There are only two motels on 74 in Gastonia. The Ramada looked better. It's fine for a one-night stay. Staff were pleasant, room was pretty clean, neighborhood was quiet. Room wasn't. The heating/air conditioning unit was really noisy -- all the time.
