We've stayed twice now the City Hotel & Bistro and that is where we prefer to stay. It's older but clean and we have like both our rooms. We prefer the bottom floor. You get a complementary breakfast (full blown) but the last time they're shipment hadn't arrived and by the time we ain't there wasn't much there. It's mostly... More

I have stayed here several times. The rooms are consistently clean, neat, and comfortable. No, it would not be my favorite place, but for their price it would be tough to beat. There are certainly many hotels in Greenville I have stayed in for more money that were not nearly as enjoyable. Breakfast is included, but perhaps is not as... More

Since our home office is in VA, I stayed overnight to do interviews for a new hire that lives in this area. This hotel was beautiful. The staff was very helpful, I needed copies for applications, and an internet connection in the lobby. They helped me out with whatever I asked. The day desk clerk was exceptional. there is a... I was booked for 2 nights by my business for work in Greenville. Since my first appointment was at 6:30 a.m., I requested a wake-up call at 4:00 a.m. so I could work out (ample exercise facility onsite), shower, eat breakfast and get to my meeting on time. I did not sleep well and kept checking the clock. When I... More

Stayed a couple nights here on business. Nice hotel but feels and smells old (when I first walked in my room it smelled like an old mans aftershave, not unpleasant but a tad weird). Room was clean and quiet. The "Bistro" is really a bar but the food was ok (for bar food) no loud drunks. Free breakfast buffet was... More

I stayed here last night for business, had a non-smoking king, and was very satisfied. I got in around 7pm, went to the bar and had a great dinner and drinks with a business partner. We were served by Megan last night, she was awesome- great service and friendly. Good deal on the 2 dollar drafts! The breakfast buffet was... More

We went to Greenville for the USM - ECU football game on the 5th of Nov. We were pleased to be allowed early check-in into room 233 about 1:30 pm to quickly drop our luggage before the game started at 4:00. I guess what happened is certainly part my fault as I had cancelled an earlier reservation for a non... More

This hotel has MAJOR customer service problems...when one of my friends told the front desk that her bathroom was overflowing the front desk person said they were the only person at the desk. They said they could give her the plunger to use. The front desk person said that their managment has instructed them to tell customers that when only... More

I stayed there one night while traveling through Greenville. It is a very clean hotel that looks like it was just remodeled. The rooms have a fridge large tv and desk. The bathrooms have granite counter tops! This place is very nice and very reasonable. I guess they can afford all this because the hotel is the largest in town.... More

We arrived at the hotel at 11:30 am after driving from CT and we were allowed to check in right away. Additionally one of the individuals traveling with us was unable to make it and I had to cancel her reservation upon arrival. The manager (Mark) was very understanding and did not charge a cancellation fee. Also, we had a... More
