We stayed at this hotel as an alternative to Moorehead City in May 2008 for a wedding. The drive the beach is not too bad - especially considering the affordable prices. Of the many Choice Hotels I've visited over the years, this one is consistently one of the best. Ironically it is away from everything except for the military base in the same town. Location is off the strip in Havelock (a retail strip town) but this is a good Comfort Inn. Rooms are very good, there is wifi, a weights room, and the breakfast is better than most. I recommend it if you are looking in the Morehead City/Havelock area more
