I'm not sure what hotel the previous reviewer stayed at but it couldn't have been the Quality Inn in Havelock. I stayed there this past weekend. The hotel was hard to locate since the sign by the road says "Inn at Havelock". The hotel staff was inattentive and unprofessional. The front desk clerk who was checking me in stopped for several minutes in the middle of the check in to look for a take out pizza menu for another employee. My reservation for a three night stay was also incorrectly billed as a two night stay. The hotel overall appears to be very dated and in the middle of some sort of renovation but I saw no evidence that any work was being done while I was there. My room had a layer of grime on the carpet and walls, the bathroom shower walls were cracked, the furniture and mattress had seen better days, and many of the light switch covers were broken. For the money, you could do better staying at another hotel. more
