This Bed and Breakfast closed its door probably sometime in 2005. I inherited the phone number and, as of March 2008, I am still getting inquiries about the establishment. more
A colleague and I spent a long weekend, from October 8-11, at the Mary Mills Coxe Inn in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Patty Watts, Co-0wner and hostess, was very welcoming and had excellent ideas for things to do in the Hendersonville-Ashville area. Bill Watts is the chef! I rate the food A+. I encourage anyone traveling to the Western North Carolina Mountains to stop in and visit with Bill & Patty at the Mary Mills Coxe Inn. The Inn is under new management (2004) and the food is excellent! The prices are moderate and the atmosphere is enchanting! Dine either inside in front of the gorgeous fireplaces or outside on the veranda... more
I absolutely loved the Mary Mills Coxe Inn, in fact, I didn't want to leave! I wanted to pamper myself and be surrounded in beauty (this place is it). The decor is gorgeous, I just can't say enough about this bed and breakfast! Plenty of privacy. Can't wait to go back!!! more
We've stayed at a lot of B&B's, several in the Flat Rock/Hendersonville area. The Mary Mills Cox Inn was a beautiful place to stay; however, the innkeepr was not very hospitable. The thing that's supposed to make these places special is the hospitality of the innkeepers. We checked in and the person at the desk simply said "OK, which one... more
