I don't know what room the other poster stayed in but my review is the total opposite. There were no rooms to be had the night we arrived in the area at any of the other hotels. The visitor bureau gave us a brochure for Sweet Dreams and said they had heard good comments. Well, we tried it after stopping at several other places that were booked for the night or required a two night minimum. (This surprised me in October?) The staff was friendly is all I can say positve about this place. I do not consider a new bedspread and carpeting a remodel. The room was filthy and the toilet had not been flushed in weeks! I wiped down the bathroom the best I could with one of their cheap, thin, rough towels. I prayed to just get me through the night and we would leave first thing in the morning, which is exactly what we did. Even at the low price of $70/night it was a rip off. This is a $29/night motel! If this is the only place available in town, I suggest sleeping in your vehicle! more
