I and my wife have stayed here for 3 weeks, so far. We have found the staff to be quite friendly and helpful. Being it is an older building(as most in this area are),sure it needed some T.L.C., that we were happy to give it, but that's what we do. Most of what we needed was right across the street.... more
While the Inn was obviously dirty and low tier, we hoped for a short night of descent sleep before heading home in the morning. When we peeled back the stained and ragged sheets, there were bugs in the bed. Not just a cricket, but earwigs and ants too. One might assume if you can see bugs, there are probably others... more

We arrived in Kinston Saturday night for an event Sunday afternoon. My room was OK, but my brother received a room where the paint was not yet dry. There were nails sticking out of the carpet. He asked for a new room and they gave him a room with all the furniture from the other rooms they were fixing up.... more
