It’s a pet friendly older hotel but it’s been updated nicely. Though it’s been renovated it felt like it could use a good cleaning. Just felt dirty and kinda smelly. I'm a very particular person when it comes to staying in hotels. This is a great pet friendly hotel. There was no odour of a dog having been in the room prior to us. I have a Siberian Husky which does not have a dog odour and am very sensitive to pet odours. The front desk staff was very helpful... more

The Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn and Comfort Suites just down the road (all of these hotels are on the same street, the name changes from Jackson Court to Wintergreen) were quoted $20+/night more expensive than the Best Western, and I can't imagine they were worth the extra... more

We had called this hotel while on the road to check out the rates and availability. I was quoted a price and called back later that day to book the rooms. However, we were surprised to find out that the rates had gone up in just three hours. They refused to honor the original rates. more
