We booked the Ramada Limited by phone the day before we were to leave for Maggie Valley. The clerk I spoke with "Cathy" was so helpful I couldn't wait to meet her. She's as fun and pleasant in person as she was on the phone. We were meeting our daughter and her family and new grandbaby there and she made... more
This was a great place to stay. We got a room with two queen beds for only $109. The rooms are new and fresh. They offer a nice free breakfast as well. The clerk was very friendly and helpful, recommending some local restaurants. more
This was our first time to Maggie Valley and we were very pleased with the area; as well as, this particular hotel. Having never stayed at a Ramada, we weren't sure what to expect, but WOW...were we ever pleased. The rooms were clean. We had a beautiful creekside room....what a view!!! The breakfast was good. I can't say enough about... more
Paid about $50 for a night and it was worth it! Visit Maggie valley in the winter time and get some great deals, some shops still open - good for Christmas shopping or just to see the area. Close enough to WCU if you have a son/daughter in school. Room was fine, staff very friendly, hotel a little dated but... more
My husband and I stayed here several years ago and enjoyed our stay. It wasn't anything fancy but it was clean and we had a creekside room. However, on this trip it wasn't pleasant. When we checked in the lady was smoking, and although she was outside she brought the smoke in with her. Our room smelled like a dirty... more
I called to make the reservation and the front desk was very nice and helpful. This was my first time to maggie valley, NC and I was quite surprised. I had expected a smaller town, but it has a lot of little motels and very nice and clean. The hotel, was a very comfortable place to stay and everyone was... more
I've always stayed at Jonathan Creek Inn, but saved $40/night at the Ramada this trip so decided to try it. The room was clean, although the sofa was ripped and worn. Cathy at the desk was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was a joke. Waffles, cereal, and still frozen bagels. They were out of orange juice, and the waffle mix... more
What can I say. This is Ramada. This is Maggie Valley, NC. This is not a upper-level Ramada but more like a Super 8 or Motel 6 with a Ramada name. Indoor pool is like a large jacuzzi with a plastic room around it. Staff very nice. If you can get below $80 per night, ok. If not, skip it... more
Our family just spent four days there in order to ski at Cataloochee. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and well maintained. This was such a vast improvement over the last hotel we had at Maggie (but that's a different review!) The proprietor, or one of his employees, was always available for questions, and quite helpful when we were... more
