The Microtel was a surprise - very reasonable prices, quick check-in and check-out and free in-room internet and free phone calls! This is more than I have gotten at some hotels that were double the price. The rooms are small but well furnished with a window seat and a small desk. I stayed here due to a good rate and the close proximity to the airport. They offer a parking program if you would like to leave your car there while you are out of town. This is what I did. I came back after 5 days and my car was fine. The shuttle service runs every 30 minutes and I... more

Stayed here after a night of canceled flights at RDU. Called at 9pm, rooms were available. They sent a van to pick me up. I got the "distressed passenger" rate for $55/night. If you need to stay very close to Raleigh-Durham Airport-- as we did-- this hotel could fit the bill. Our room was fairly clean, not all that small for a hotel with "Micro" in its name, and even had a shuttle van service to the airport. They also have overnight airport parking for $5 a night.
