“Has become a construction worker party haven...”

I have stayed in this hotel for several years while working in the area on business. Just in the past 6 months, I have seen a sad decline. There has always been parking issues due to the smaller lot with oftentimes 18 wheelers, RV buses and many trucks with trailers that take up anywhere from 3 - 8 parking spaces.... More

“Friendly, nice staff”

Stayed here while attending the John Campbell Folk School. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff was wonderful with good breakfasts served hot and with a smile every morning. Well located, but in a quiet location. Highly recommend!

Heading back on the 6th of this Month. We have stayed there often when we visit Murphy, NC and the surrounding area. Super quiet location; terrible set up for breakfast: small u-shaped serving area where everyone crowds into. Identical Holiday Inn Express breakfast you find at the next Holiday Inn Express. A/c blew with hurricane force winds. But that's the unit's problem, not the hotel's
