Had a quick getaway and Loved this hotel!! Beautiful NEW oceanfront deck was AWESOME-- and you don't get any closer to the beach anywhere. Staff was SO helpful with directions and information of things to do-- Their new deck is beautiful-- we will be back this summer so we can sit out there and watch the ocean. This hotel I... more

Stayed for one night in mid Jan. 2010. Had stayed once before about 4 years ago. The plusses: friendly staff, warm room, room was clean and beds were comfortable. Bathroom/shower were fine. The not so good: #1 door handle almost impossible to open until I found out that you raise the lever, not lower it to open the door (I... more

is what we were after we spent 120 dollars for this absolute DUMP. The lobby wasn't so bad, very friendly staff at front desk, but the hotel has never been remodeled and is falling apart--literally. the concrete around pool has caved in, only public beach access. Everything looks to be from 1974 when the hotel was built. Wallpaper falling off,... more

I don't think anyone mentioned that the hotel beach access is not accessible! We had to walk to the back of the hotel and around to the public beach access just to get to the beach! This place is a DUMP! Elevators are slow and old too!! The only good thing was the awesome view from our oceanfront room.... more

If you like the ocean, this is a hotel right on the ocean. Other than that, it took half a day for someone to finally clean our room. I called five times to have someone come up and make the beds. It's a very expensive place and not worth it. The elevator is about 100 years old and not air... more

We stayed here because it is right on the beach. The rooms were adequate: beds were comfortable enough, table was large enough to enjoy games, and the view of the ocean was very nice. We didn't enjoy the broken AC, the clogged drains, the musty smell everywhere, the stained towels, and the wet floor from a leaky refrigerator. The patio... more

I'm not very prissy but this was absolutely the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The condition of the physical building and rooms is appalling. It seems that there is no upkeep! The carpet in the room was just plain dirty. We found multiple large bugs in our bathroom and the drop ceiling in the bathroom was about to... more

No water pressure, hotel falling apart, sand bags providing support, pool area should be condemned, dog stench from pets and falling in ceilings. Not worth the money!! The only good thing, front desk was very courteous. more

We were down for a family wedding and this was basically our only choice. We were there for 4 nights. This place is disgusting. In need of repair/updating, moldy, dank, damp, horrible. Overall not the cleanest place and animal friendly which we did not know prior to arrival. Dogs everywhere and two yappy ones in the room next to us... more
