If we are ever in the Outer Banks again, we will defiantly stay at the Sandbar B&B. My wife and I (in our late 20's) stayed 5 nights at the Sandbar during our summer vacation to the Outer Banks. The Bed and Breakfast reminded me of a beach house that I rented with my family years ago at the New Jersey coast. There was a comfortable living/dining room on the ground floor and the bedrooms were upstairs. We stayed in the Lighthouse Room and found it very clean and comfortable. All of the rooms have their own bathroom and our was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the decor was lighthouse/beach themed. There was also a washer and dryer available to the guests in the house which was a nice feature to have at a beach house.
