I was surprised not to find this restaurant listed as it continues to please! We were 'squeezed' in on Saturday night and once again we were very impressed with the chef's genius! I had the most amazing duck I could ever imagine... I'll be thinking of this for months to come. This was our 2nd trip to the Harvey in... more

I was a bit concerned when I read the reviews but we had a wonderful dinner! The duck was superb as was the crab special. The service was great and you can't beat the price for the food and atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant. more

My husband and I were extremely dissapointed with the food while dining at the Harvey Mansion Restaurant. We enjoyed the french onion soup, however the salad was bitter and the lettuce was brown around the edges. The ranch dressing was quite distasteful. We both shared the Rack of Lamb with a Raspberry Plum Sauce. It was awful. The Sauce did... more

Overall, I loved this restaurant and would go back. I did order the "Beef and Brie En Croute" but would not again, as the beef was indeed too done .... almost well-done. The pastry and sauce with it were delicious. My husband had a soft-shell crab/crabcake plate that was out of this world. The salads were fresh and good, and... more

We were warmly and graciously greeted and treated. The ambiance was as wonderful as the cuisine. If you have read bad comments here about the Beef & Brie en Croute, ignore them. Mine was fabulously cooked, still pink inside, NOT overpowered by the brie or the blueberry glace. THe pastry was mouthwatering. Definitely a "must have." My husband's New York... more

Food was absolutely superb. We had oysters rockefeller appetizer, crabcake entree and filet mignon. I liked the creme brulee, my husband wasn't that crazy about it -- thought it too custard-like. Service was a little slow, but they were crowded for Valentine's weekend, and the food made up for it. The bar downstairs is cozy, and looks like it gets... more

Located in Historic 3-story house, the restaurant seating in various rooms. Excellent wine selection, and wait staff. The salad was very nice. Interesting offerings (like Walleye). Skip the beef en croute' until chef lightens up the sauce. Raves heard for the Ossa Bucca lamb. Main restaurant on 2nd floor. Located downtown near river. Will return again. more

My wife and I decided to try the restaurant. We found quite a nice wine list and an effecient wait staff and great ambience. That is where our praise stops. Each of our meals were horrible. The sauces used to accompany our dishes, did a great job of covering the taste of the main ingredient and contaminating ones taste buds.... more
