We walked in, no reservations, and got two rooms on AAA rates which was about $15 less than posted. The rooms were smallish for the queen bed but were very clean. The Microtel Inn Raleigh is an typical interstate hotel. The room was small but OK for a one-night stay. Cable TV only offered like 10 channels plus HBO. They do offer free wireless internet and free long distance phone calls which is a nice feature. The hotel seemed a little run down but the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. more
