We (wife & 2 kids) stayed one night a few years ago on our way to FL. Indoor pool and location was the draw. It was a pleasant stay then. This visit the place seemed beat; shabby lobby, dismal staff, ice machine broken, lights broken in room, shower door would not close, shower fan brought in cigerette smell, etc. But... more

I stayed at the Sleep Inn on November 9, 2007. I redeemed some rewards points. Check in was smooth and the front desk clerk was courteous. The room was very small as hotel rooms go but it was clean, and I had no problems whatsoever. Also, the free wireless internet provides good connectivity. Breakfast items were well presented and fresh,... more

The front desk staff had no idea how to look up a Choice Privledge card number. When we got past that hurdle, I got to the room. The microwave was sitting unplugged on the desk, which should have been a tipoff of the quality of the housekeeping staff! The only ice machine, and vending, is on the first floor by... more

The week before we had stayed at a Sleep Inn in Ashland, Va which was very nice. We were coming back from Myrtle Beach and only wanted to drive 4 hours. It is AAA approved and since the other Sleep Inn was nice I booked it. When we checked in I used the main bathroom off the lobby and there... more

Thank God we only stayed for one night. Very small rooms (Tiny would be a better description). The breakfast room was extremely HOT!!!!!! in addition, the breakfast selection was extremely limited. Would not stay there for any extended length of time. more

absolutely no security, van was broken into, one window broken two other windows damaged to the point they had to be replaced, (over $1,500.00) To their credit they did have a staff member clean up the broken glass after my wife ask them if she could borrow a vacuum cleaner. Also the bed spred was soiled on one of the... more

On our way home from Florida, my husband, 2 1/2 yr old , and I decided to stop here for the night. What actually drew us was the starbucks sign from the highway, which we love to get on the road. The hotel is nice, clean, and the staff were ok, the morning shift ladies were very friendly! The one... more

The room was small, the decor was old and the carpet and chair were stained. The TV remote was broken. Hotel is located on a busy highway that was hard to cross and right next to 95. People were sleeping in their tractor trailers on the parking lot and one homeless man sleeping on the parking lot asked us for money... more

If you need just one night, The Sleep Inn is good. The shower is very roomy. The continental brekfast had several different selections, but can get crowded fast, and there is a Cracker Barrel nearby. One minor problem was the light switches in the room. They glow in the dark, and could possibly keep someone awake. more
