Sixteen of us went to the Costa Brava to play Golf. We found Hotel Aqua Bertran, Lloret to be the ideal location for our base. It was within easy travelling distance to all our selected Courses - PGA Catalunya, Daro Mas Nou, Girona and Emporda (max travelling time was 1 hour). Stayed at Hotel Bertran between the 2nd and 9 of September 2008. On the whole, good value for money. The rooms were clean with a good balcomy overlooking the square and pool; The hotel's situation is located at a prime position.... just a 5 minutes stroll to the centre of activities where all the fun takes place... yet not in... more

we had to walk from the main road where the bus dropped us off all the way down to the hotel with our cases which was really hard work so we had to help some of the older passengers as they were struggling to do this as we had to go down steps aswell! the front of the hotel faces... more

The staff at the Hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location was awful, stuck near buildings that looked like they were about to fall down! Extremely noisy area, also building work going on next door, which didn't help. The food was unappetising and tasteless. Would probably suit the German clientle as it was mostly hot dog sausages, sliced meats... more

Hotel bertran in the resort of lloret de mar in costa brava.This is where i stayed for my holiday in july And i can not begin to tell you how awful it was .The whole area was so horrible ,so hoisy you could not sleep at all in the night music blasting people shouting and screaming til all hours .The... more

My wife, daughter and myself booked 2-rooms on half board basis between 19th and 24th june 05. The hotel was wedged between two narrow streets but in a reasonable location within 300 metres of the popular main road area and only 50 metres from the bus station / taxi rank it was 3 / 4 minute stroll to the beach... more
