We had a lovely time. A very nice setting and extremely spacious accommodation. Underfloor heating was good especially at this time of the year - it kept it very warm. Good breakfast, fully recommended. Friendly too.

Byecross House is a truly excellent find. We have stayed a couple of times since finding it by chance within this last year. Jenny and John are the perfect charming hosts. The accommodation, which is a highly spacious annexe to their beautiful house in Georgeham, is very tastefully presented and extremely comfortable with fantastic wet room, kitchenette, conservatory and large...

We stayed here for a weekend in October and were blown away with the beautiful house, breakfast and warm hosts. We would definitely recommend this place for a truly lovely and special experience. Everything was truly excellent. The self contained annexe was such a great space, huge and private with fantastic features and views. Beutiful sky windows in the lounge...

we stopped at Byecross House on a Friday evening in the summer as a celebration for my birthday and our wedding anniversary although it was pouring with rain, we had not expected to find such a wonderful setting and accomodation. The annexe was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the lovely breakfast with an Irish twist. Just wished we had better...

My Wife and I have just spent an incredibly relaxing couple of nights at Byecross House following a personal recommendation, and we couldn’t fault it!
It is surrounded by fields on the outskirts of Georgeham; a beautiful village just a couple of miles out of Croyde, which has the advantage of being quieter and more relaxed, whilst still being very...

The accomodation is stunning with a very comfortable bedroom and a relaxing lounge all very tastefully decorated. It is great to have your own kitchen facilities too so if you want to stay in after a long day at the...

Really couldn't say anything bad at all, great place, huge bright room with on-suite with adjoining living room, wonderful view, great service (felt like I was visiting family) and a great breakfast... really had the most relaxed enjoyable experience and couldn't say a bad word at all (and I grumble).
Thanks Jenny.

My wife and I had been coming to the North Devon area but normally stay in Croyde. However we fancied staying somewhere a little more peaceful than Croyde but with still great access to the beach and the pub. We then came across Byecross and wished we had found it years ago! John and Jenny are magnificant hosts but you...
