My wife and I stayed at the Cootamundra Heritage Motel for 3 nights recently @$110 per night plus $10 pp continental breakfast. Had read good reviews on tripadvisor. The Cootamundra Heritage Motel is adjacent to the Cootamundra Country Club, which includes the golf and bowling clubs. My room had a balcony overlooking the golf course and provided a restful and enjoyable location to enjoy the bucolic atmosphere.
