Shutters on the Beach was the best part of Agnes Water/1770 for us. First of all, the house is immaculate, with plenty of space. We were there with our 3 kids, and my husband's parents in their own suite, so they could lock themselves away from us if need be. (They had a king bed and ensuite, and we had a queen, king/singles, and 2 sets of bunks, so there was plenty of room for the 7 of us). It would be perfect for a couple of families, and it is a duplex, so you could have another couple of families on the other side if you wanted to have a big reunion. The living area is on the third floor, which means that it is high enough for ocean views, as there are height and setback restrictions at Agnes. This means that when you're out on the beach, it still seems untouched, as there aren't hundreds of buildings beside you. That was a GREAT plan which makes the beach experience fantastic.
